JohnLENTON10.10.25 - 15.06.2010 John passed away peacefully in George Eliot Hospital on the 15th June 2010. The family were devastated but thankful for his long and interesting life (which included being a d-day veteran). The Funeral and Thanksgiving Service for John took place at the United Reformed Church, Nuneaton on 29th June 2010. The beautiful service was conducted by Minister Helga Cornell and supported by organist Mr Martin Lane. Standard bearers representing The Royal British Legion and The Royal Warwickshire Regiment also played their part with grateful thanks. Interment followed at Oaston Road Cemetery. The family would like to give a big thank you to all relatives and friends who attended the service especially the support of the United Reformed Church, The Royal British Legion, staff of Attleborough Sports Club and A & M Florists. Donations to The Royal British Legion are currently standing at £107.16. Thanks to everyone for the kind donations and for all the kind words, support, cards and flowers which has given the family great comfort at this difficult time.
